As a family owned business, Sail Muscongus knows the importance of having a wonderful staff, or in our case, wonderful crewmates. A captain is only as good as the people around him, making it essential to have dependable deckhands that can competently perform a variety of tasks, including docking; departing; hauling trap; catching bait; helping customers and of course, hoisting sail!
Keep in mind, Sarah Mead is the last Maine lobster boat, and with a refurbish, you will surely be comfortable when sailing with the friendliest and most knowledgeable crew around.

Recent Westminster College graduate Sarah joins us after a winter spent out west enjoying the snow. Quick to learn the ropes and eager to set sail, Sarah will help Captains Randy and Nate during the week this summer.

Boothbay native and seasoned lobsterman Hayden is following in his grandfather's footsteps this summer as a sailing lobsterman. Knowledgeable with the area and the people that inhabit Boothbay, Hayden helps us get all the local fish stories straight!
