Between sailing the Sarah Mead and oystering, Captain Nate has found time to bolt the name onto Paula Anne's transom and re-establish the original black waterline. The black gives the white topsides a nice pop - and adding Paula's middle name (Anne) to her transom gives the boat a traditional new-england feel. It is a tradition amongst fishermen that their boat be named after a woman important in their lives, but not first and last name, rather first and middle. Anthony Noon originally named the boat simply: Paula.

"I told him to name it Paula Anne" Former owner / wife to Anthony Paula Noon told Captain Nate shortly after the sale.
